The Neighborhood Policing/Nuisance Abatement Unit (NPO) is comprised of officers trained to be problem solvers.
NPO officers strive to participate in community affairs and identify neighborhood disorder.  Officers are skilled at addressing ongoing neighborhood nuisances.  NPO officers work on crime problems that may not be resolved during a routine call for the police.  NPO officers are proficient at utilizing other City Departments and a variety of community resources to assist citizens and find solutions.
